Good sleep is uninterrupted, so accurate detection of mid-sleep awakening is essential for objective sleep monitoring. For this purpose, we've developed a wristwatch-style device to measure your sleep with minimal equipment and intrusion. This wearable works together with “ACCEL,” an algorithm that assesses the data from the detection of mid-wake arousals from the device's accelerometer. The result is a highly accurate analysis of the quantity, rhythm and quality of your sleep that's as close to that of medical-grade EEG brainwave measurements as possible, all in the comfort of your own home.
